Paul J. Zecchi
President & Chief Executive Officer
Paul J. Zecchi founded Central Resources, Inc in 1988 and remains the majority shareholder. Mr. Zecchi has presided over all corporate functions since inception and has been the lead in Central's acquisition and divestiture efforts. He instituted the Company's international diversification plan in 1997.
Prior to this time, Mr. Zecchi held various executive, management and engineering positions with Schlumberger Technology Corporation and Tenneco Inc. (natural gas divisions). He is the former president of the Independent Petroleum Association of Mountain States and is a member, or former member in many other industry organizations. Currently, he is a director and/or officer of several corporate and charitable boards.
Mr. Zecchi graduated from Marietta College in Ohio in 1970 with a B.S. Degree in Petroleum Engineering and from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in New York in 1979 with a M.S. Degree in Management Science.
Jeannette H. Feigt
Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer
Jeannette H. Feigt joined Central in 1993. Ms. Feigt is responsible for all core domestic and international corporate functions of the Company, including operations, land and legal, finance, and administration. Prior to joining Central, she worked for Dekalb Energy Company from 1980 to 1992. Ms. Feigt held several other executive and management positions in the Company before ascending to her present position. Ms. Feigt is former president of the Denver Association of Lease and Title Analysts and national director, and is also a current member of the Rocky Mountain Mineral Law Foundation, American Association of Petroleum Landmen, Denver Association of Petroleum Landmen, and Association of International Petroleum Negotiators.
Ms. Feigt has a B.S. in Business Administration from Regis University in Denver, Colorado.
Fred A. Merian
Senior Vice President, Corporate Engineering
Fred A. Merian joined Central in May 2008 as Corporate Asset Manager with a primary focus on operations and development. Mr. Merian has over twenty five years of diversified and integrated E&P business and engineering management experience, ranging from major company reservoir, production, EOR and drilling operations in the late 1970's and 1980's and as senior executive management with similar private & public companies from the 1990's to present. His broad knowledge, experience and track record demonstrate a strategic focus and execution that contributes to Company assets, opportunities, sustained managed growth and increased value. Mr. Merian is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE).
Mr. Merian graduated from Missouri School of Mines with a degree in Geological Engineering.
Trina M. Duran
Senior Vice President, Accounting & Financial Services
Trina M. Duran joined Central in 1993. Ms. Duran is responsible for all Domestic and International Accounting, financials, domestic marketing, and risk management functions. Ms. Duran held several other management positions in the Company prior to her current position.
Ms. Duran received a degree in Business Management from the University of Denver.
Dominic J. Bazile II
Senior Vice President, North America
Dominic J. Bazile II joined Central in May 2010 as Senior Vice President, North America. As a thirty-year veteran in the oil and gas industry, he brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to Central. His versatile career has yielded broad experience in drilling, production and reservoir engineering throughout the US. Mr. Bazile's most recent positions have been in management and include Senior Vice President of Operations and Engineering of Bill Barrett Corporation. At Central, Mr. Bazile will focus on operations, development and exploration of the company's North American assets. Mr. Bazile holds a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering from Louisiana State University. He is also a graduate of Executive Management Programs from both the Wharton and Harvard Business Schools. He has been active in the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) and the Independent Petroleum Association of Mountain States (IPAMS).
Kurt Hoppe
Senior Vice President, Latin America
Kurt W. Hoppe began his career at Central in 2002 and is responsible for Central's operations in Latin America. Mr. Hoppe has over 35 years experience in oil & gas exploration, exploitation and development including positions at Gulf Research & Development, Hunt Exploration and Hamilton Brothers Petroleum. He has broad international experience and has managed projects in Russia, Georgia, Azerbaijan and Israel. Mr. Hoppe also has extensive exerience in Argentina. In 1986 he formed 4-H Operation Corporation, a domestic production company at which he continues to be president. In 1996 Mr. Hoppe and two partners formed an Argentine corporation and operated three concessions in Argentina, and later consulted for the Argentine national oil company YPF.
Mr. Hoppe graduated from Renselaer Polytechnic Institute with a degree in Geology.
