The key element to company growth is utilizing a broad base of professional relationships with both major and independent oil companies. Central has demonstrated the internal capability to identify, evaluate, negotiate and selectively acquire minimal risk producing properties. Exploitation potential is a prerequisite for acquisition that is frequently evident with the prospect of development drilling or the application of secondary or enhanced oil recovery techniques.

Subsequent to acquisition, emphasis shifts to reserve enhancement through improved operations. The greatest strength of Central is its ability to effectively manage and operate oil and gas properties assuring the greatest return to the Company and its partners. This is achieved through the constant reassessment of each producing property and the search for improved operating efficiencies.

Selected development drilling activity is generated under the same quality guidelines as the property acquisitions. Locations are predominately in well-defined formations and fields with a history of successful infill or extension development such as the Comodoro Rivadavia formation of the San Jorge Basin, due to their predictability, low cost, and long life. Additionally, many of these formations have the attraction of excellent response to secondary or enhanced recovery with moderate additional capital expenditure.
